How to Activate Michigan Way to Go Card
To activate your Michigan Way to Go Card and start receiving Child Support payments, call the toll-free Way2Go Card MI Child Support Number at 844-649-9843. Activate your Way2Go Card Michigan by creating a 4-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) for your Go Program account.
To create your 4-digit PIN, you will be asked to provide:
- Michigan Way2Go Debit MasterCard® Number
- Last 4-digits of your Social Security Number (SSN)
- Date of Birth (MM/DD/YYYY)
Once complete, you will be asked to select your four (4) digit Personal Identification Number (PIN). You will be asked to enter your PIN a second time for verification.
Please note: You cannot access or receive your child support payments until you have successfully activated your Michigan Way2Go Card and registered your PIN.
Michigan Way2Go Prepaid MasterCard® Fraud Prevention
Occasionally the Way2Go fraud prevention team may call you to verify if a specific transaction. If they do call you, they will NEVER ask for your Social Security Number (SSN) or PIN number. Do not provide that information to anyone over the phone.

If you are currently receiving Michigan Child Support and need help logging into your online account, we can help. Your MI Child Support online account can be used to manage your user profile, manage your electronic payment card account (Way2Go Card Michigan), manage direct deposit, repay an overpayment, and make a payment.

Avoid Transaction fees and Service charges with your MI Child Support Card by using “in-network” AllPoint ATM locations or MasterCard® Bank Tellers for cash withdrawals.
The Michigan Way2Go Card provides unlimited FREE ATM Cash Withdrawals per month at in-network ATM locations. You can withdraw a maximum of $500.00 in one calendar day.
The MI Way2Go Prepaid MasterCard® has a $1.50 per transaction fee for ATM Cash Withdrawals at “out-of-network” ATM locations.
For Bank Teller Cash Withdrawals, the Way2Go Card Michigan provides FREE unlimited bank teller withdrawals at MasterCard® Member Bank or Credit Union teller windows.
Michigan Way2Go Card Transaction Fees & Charges
Additional fees associated with the Way to Go Card MI include: $5.00 fee for each Michigan Way2Go Card replacement $10.00 fee for expedited 3-5 business day replacement card delivery.
There are NO Fees for Michigan Way to Go Card online balance inquiries or transaction history requests, recurring bank account transfers, in-network ATM transactions, point-of-sale purchase transactions, cardholder alerts, or deposit notifications.

We will never request any of your personal information such as Social Security Number, Way2Go Card Number or PIN through our website. We highly recommend that you DO NOT respond to requests like these.
Being informed is your best defense. If you believe your Michigan Child Support Card has been compromised, please call Michigan Child Support Card Customer Service as soon as possible. Submitting a request to report your card as lost or stolen will help to protect your Michigan Child Support payments.
Way2Go Michigan Card Expiration
The Michigan Way2Go Card by Debit MasterCard® is good for three (3) years. If your card is about to expire, a new CA Child Support Card will be mailed to you 30-days before the expiration date listed on your card.
If your mailing address has changed since your card was issued, call the Way2Go Card Michigan Customer Service phone number at 1-844-649-9843.
Additionally, you can login your MI Way to Go Card online account on the GoProgram website to update your mailing address.
Your new Michigan Way2Go Card cannot be forwarded to your new address. If they do not have your correct address, you may experience delays in receiving your child support payments.
