Eppicard Change of Address Instructions

Here is how to change your address on your EPPICard:

Step 1 – Call Customer Service

The first step in changing the address on your EPPICard is to visit your state’s Eppicard page and locate the customer service number. Click here to get to the main website.

Once you get to the website and you locate your state’s main page, you have to pick the right card page. If your state offers both the EPPICard Child Support Card and the EPPICard Unemployment Benefits Card, then you need to select the page that applies to you.

On that page, you will see a link to “Toll-Free Customer Service”. Call the number provided and follow the prompts to talk to a live customer service person.

Step 2 – Change Address Over the Phone

Once you reach a live person, let them know you would like to change the address on your EPPICard.

They will verify your identity to make sure you are who you say you are. Be sure to have your card information ready. Once the verify your identity, they will be able to help you change your address.

If you are changing your address because your current card is about to expire, make sure they have not already mailed your replacement card to the old address. They will have to cancel that card since it will not be forwarded to you.

How to Confirm Address On Eppicard for Replacement Card

If your card is about to expire, EPPICard will mail you a replacement card within 30 days before the card expires.

However, be sure you have the correct mailing address on file with EPPICard. That is because if you have an incorrect address, the US Postal Service is instructed NOT to forward EPPICard mail to a forwarding address.

You, therefore, have to update the address on the account before your card expires, so that your new card will be mailed to your current address.

A lot of cardholders have reported problems with getting customer service on the phone to change the address on their card. Our advice is to keep trying using some of the techniques we have shared on the customer service page.

Here is how to verify that EPPICard has the correct address on file for you and speak to a LIVE person:

First, call the customer service number for your card as shown in the first step above.

Once you have verified your identity, select the “lost or stolen card” option from the menu. You will then be asked “Is your mailing address correct?” and you can hit “2” for NO, which immediately transfers you to a live customer service rep who can change your address for you.

Why You Cannot Change Address online

You would think that since it is so hard to get someone from EPPICard on the phone, EPPIcard will at least allow users to change their address online.

However, there is no way around it, you have to call customer service to change your address.

We suspect that due to fraud concerns (and due to the fact that cardholders have become targets for fraud), they feel it is safer to have you call customer service, verify your identity before you change the address on the account.

Until they change this process, this is what you have to do to get your address updated on your account.
