To check balance on your Eppicard, you need to follow these steps:

1. Log-into your EPPICard Account. If you don’t know how to log-into your account, click here. It should look like the page below. If you forgot your password, you can request a password reset.

2. If you have not yet created your account, click on the “New User” link and follow the instructions. You will see a page like the one below:

Once you log-in successfully, you should be able to view your account balance and check transaction history. You should also be able to see pending transaction, which is a safeguard against overdrawing your account.

Bad Customer Service from EPPICard?

EPPICard customer service has been a source of many complaints lately. When we reviewed the volume of emails received from readers, the number one issue was that EPPICard customer service is unresponsive. When card holders call the toll free number, they end up with the auto-reply system and it’s impossible to get a live person. Some of the auto response options do not even provide an option to talk to a live person. This has left many customers frustrated – unable to get their questions answered, including questions relating to Card Replacement, Card Cancellation, Change of Address, Overdraft Questions, Username and Password Issues, Security Block on Cards and Statement issues among others.

EPPICard Customer Service – Can’t Get Them on the Phone

Customer Service complaints about EPPICard has become commonplace. If you have an EPPICard and have been unable to get customer service on the phone, welcome to the club. We have received hundreds of emails complaining about EPPICard customer service and how it is almost impossible to get them to answer the phone. Some have called for weeks with no response. Those who have been lucky to get through are given the run around or get disconnected before they are able to speak with a representative.

This is not going to change unless cardholders take action. Here is how:

Each state has contracted out their eppicard service and support to a company called Affiliated Computer Services, or ACS. If you are not getting the services you deserve regarding issues with your eppicard, you should contact your state specific agency that is responsible for managing the contract with ACS and file a complaint. That may be your unemployment Insurance Agency or Child Support Agency. If they get enough complaints, that will push them to get ACS to improve it’s customer service and management of the eppicard program. It may just be that the state is not aware of the issues customers are experiencing with their eppicards – therefore by filing a formal complaint, you can begin to get some action.

If you have a new Alabama EPPICard (AL Debit Card) and would like to register it online, see the steps below. If you’ve forgotten your password, we have instructions below on how to reset your password.

To register your card, follow these steps:

Step 1

Visit the AL EPPICard page here, select your card and click on “New User?” on the left hand side of the page. See below:

Step 2

To register your new card, you will need your card number, Social Security Number, Date of Birth, and an email address. See the image below for details.

If you forgot your password, you will need the card number to reset the password. Click here, select your card, and click on “Forgot User ID?” on the left side of the page. See below:
